People in Spalding will have the chance to explore free training, employment and career support when the county’s Grow Your Skills programme comes to Broad Street Church on 6 May 2027.
The event will run from 10am to 12.30pm and is designed for anyone looking to gain new skills, improve their career prospects or find out more about opportunities available locally.
What Spalding residents can expect
Visitors will be able to speak with specialist training providers, local employers, Jobcentre representatives and Information, Advice and Guidance officers in one place. The organisers say this is intended to make it easier for residents to find support suited to their circumstances.
The event may be relevant to people looking for work, considering a change of career or hoping to improve their digital skills. It is also open to those who are simply exploring what training and employment support is available.
The programme is being delivered by Lincolnshire County Council’s 2Aspire programme in partnership with training providers, employers and support organisations. The council describes the events as a way for residents to take the next step, whether that means finding a course, seeking employment advice or connecting with wider support.
