Moulton Harrox produced a huge 272-run victory over Kettering Town in the Rutland Sunday League Division Four as South Lincolnshire cricket sides enjoyed a prolific Sunday with bat and ball.
The Moulton side reached 373 for eight, setting Kettering a daunting target after several major contributions with the bat. Ruari Drumm retired not out on 135, while captain Harry Lovell also ended his innings early after reaching 72.
Opener Charlie Poulter added 46 before lower-order hitting from Freddie Parrish, who made 26, and Jotham Suwarneraj, who scored 22, helped push the total beyond 370.

Kettering Town made a promising start at 52 for one, but their innings quickly unravelled. Sonal Martin changed the contest with five wickets for only seven runs, reducing the visitors to 72 for five.

Long Sutton Colts also pass 300
Long Sutton Colts recorded a 231-run win away at Grimston Lions in the Mid-Norfolk League’s Kevin Grimmer Division.
The Colts posted 315 for seven from their 40 overs, with Daniel Plant making an unbeaten 103 and Ed Blundy-Gent also retiring unbeaten on 101. The pair shared a substantial third-wicket partnership, while Jack Burton remained not out on 48.
Grimston’s reply never threatened the total. Alice Blundy-Gent took six wickets for 33 runs as the hosts were bowled out for 84, with Riley Norris contributing three wickets for 45 runs.
The two results made Sunday a notable day for run-scoring teams from South Lincolnshire, with Moulton Harrox and Long Sutton Colts both producing commanding performances in their respective competitions.
