Two internationally recognised retail names are preparing to open new stores at Springfields Designer Outlet, just outside Spalding. French Connection and Rituals are due to welcome shoppers in the next few weeks, adding new fashion, beauty and lifestyle choices to the popular destination.
The announcement, reported on August 17, 2026, means Springfields will soon add French Connection’s clothing and accessories offer alongside Rituals’ range of home fragrance, skincare and body care products.
What the new stores will offer
French Connection will offer contemporary womenswear, menswear and accessories. The brand is known for its British style, while the new outlet store will give shoppers another option for premium fashion at Springfields.
Rituals will bring a different focus, with products designed around everyday wellbeing. Its range will include home fragrances, skincare and body care, extending Springfields’ appeal beyond clothing and accessories.
“Effortless British style meets luxury wellbeing as Springfields Designer Outlet welcomes two of the UK’s most iconic and best-loved brands.”
The statement was issued by a Springfields spokesman, who described the arrivals as a combination of fashion and luxury wellbeing.
Retail centre says brands will add to visitor offer
Simon Donoghue, managing director at French Connection, said the company was looking forward to joining the centre’s expanding collection of premium brands. He said the opening would help French Connection reach more customers from the outlet’s retail setting.
“We look forward to joining the growing line-up of premium brands at Springfields Designer Outlet as we continue to expand our retail footprint. This new store marks another exciting milestone for French Connection, allowing us to bring our collections to more customers in a vibrant retail destination.”
Ian Sanderson, asset manager and head of Springfields, said the centre had been responding to customer demand for both brands. He described the new arrivals as a further complement to its existing premium outlet offer.
“It is a fantastic moment for Springfields, welcoming not one, but two sought-after luxury brands to the Springfields Retail Portfolio. These are brands our customers know, love and have been asking for.”
Springfields said the two stores would add to its fashion, beauty and lifestyle mix. The centre currently has more than 60 premium brand stores, according to its announcement.
A wider day out near Spalding
The new shops are expected to form part of the wider Springfields visitor experience, which includes dining and walks around its award-winning RHS Partner Garden. The centre said this combination gives visitors the opportunity to make a full day of a trip to the outlet.
No exact opening dates for either store have been announced. Both brands are due to open within the next few weeks, meaning shoppers will need to wait for further details from Springfields before planning a visit specifically to the new outlets.
