Fire investigations have concluded after a large blaze between Cowbit and Spalding damaged a substantial quantity of straw and part of a stubble field. Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue said the cause of the fire remains undetermined.
The incident happened off Barrier Bank on the night of Monday, August 24, 2026. Four fire crews and a support vehicle attended the blaze, which firefighters spent hours tackling.
