Spalding Men’s 1s made a winning start to their Division One North campaign, returning from their first away game of the season with a 4-1 victory over Kettering.
Spalding were at full strength for the match and applied pressure after a series of unsuccessful short-corner attempts. The breakthrough eventually came when Joe Rogers produced a superb drag flick to score.
The visitors continued to press after taking the lead and completed an opening away win in the East Men’s League.
