A new exhibition by the Spalding Arts and Crafts Society is now on display at Spalding Library, giving visitors the chance to see and buy a selection of work created by members of the local group.
The exhibition launched at the library’s Victoria Street building on September 9, 2026, and will remain in place until October 3. It features some of the society members’ most recent work, with all the displayed pieces available to purchase.
Exhibition opening hours
Visitors can see the display during Spalding Library’s usual opening hours. The exhibition is open from 9am to 5pm from Monday to Friday, with the library staying open until 6pm on Thursdays. Saturday opening hours are 9am to 1pm.
Maggie Goodsell, of the Spalding Arts and Crafts Society, described the exhibition as a colourful collection with prices intended to suit different budgets.
“It’s a full colourful display and as usual all are for sale at a wide range of prices to suit all.”
That means people visiting the library can browse the work as part of their visit, while those interested in buying a piece can ask about the items on display during the exhibition period.
Society welcomes members and visitors
The society also holds regular meetings for people interested in arts and crafts. Members meet on the first Tuesday of every month at Pinchbeck Village Hall, where the group holds a demonstration from 7.30pm.
Entry to the monthly meeting costs £3 for members and £5 for visitors. The meeting programme offers an opportunity to see the society’s activities beyond the library exhibition and find out more about the group.

The exhibition provides a temporary showcase for the society’s members at a central Spalding venue, while the regular Pinchbeck meetings offer a continuing route for people to attend demonstrations and learn more about the club.
