A man has been jailed for 10 months after pleading guilty to three counts of indecent exposure in Spalding.
Slavcho Iliev, 34, of Monks Road, Lincoln, admitted intentionally exposing his genitals to cause alarm or distress to three separate victims. The incidents took place on 3 March, 17 April and 18 April last year, under the Sexual Offences Act 2003.
Sentence and restrictions
Iliev pleaded guilty at a hearing on 11 August and was sentenced at Lincoln Crown Court. Alongside the prison sentence, he was issued with a Sexual Harm Protection Order and will have to register as a sex offender for 10 years.
The case followed the identification of a vehicle reported during the incidents. That information helped police locate and apprehend Iliev.
Police investigation
The investigation was coordinated by the Neighbourhood Policing Team and Criminal Investigation Department. Officers carried out extensive CCTV analysis and examined crime patterns to build an understanding of Iliev’s movements.
Police said cooperation from local businesses and partners helped officers detain Iliev when he returned to the area, preventing further offences.
Detective Constable Helen Rochford, who oversaw the case, thanked the victims for reporting what happened. She said their willingness to come forward had enabled the offender to be brought before the courts.
“This offender has been brought before the courts because victims had the confidence to report these incidents. It is essential that such behaviour is reported so that those responsible can be held accountable and measures can be taken to prevent further offending, helping to keep women and girls safe in our communities.”

DC Rochford said reports of incidents such as these can help officers identify offenders and protect people who may be at risk. Police are asking people who report incidents to provide timely and detailed information, including descriptions, locations and any vehicles involved.
The force said the case demonstrated the role of joint working between police, local businesses and other community partners in responding to reported offences and supporting public safety.
