A man in his 30s from the Spalding area has died after his motorbike crashed into a sign near Market Deeping.
The collision happened just before 10.15pm on Wednesday 30 September, close to the roundabout linking the A15 and A1175 near the service station.
What happened near Market Deeping
The man was riding a grey Suzuki motorbike when it collided with a sign. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash happened outside Spalding, but the man’s connection to the area means the incident is likely to be of particular concern to residents and people who regularly travel between Spalding and the Market Deeping area.
Police appeal for information
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage from the area to contact the Serious Collisions Investigation Unit.
Information can be emailed to the Serious Collisions Investigation Unit, quoting incident 576 of 30 September. No further details about the man have been released.
Anyone with relevant information is encouraged to come forward, particularly if they were travelling near the A15 and A1175 roundabout shortly before the crash.
