A popular fundraising afternoon tea is returning to Pinchbeck next week, giving local residents another chance to support Breast Cancer Now while enjoying an afternoon organised by the Friendship Circle of South Lincolnshire.

The event will take place on Thursday, August 13, at Pinchbeck Hall on Knight Street. It will run from 2pm to 4pm and follows last year’s afternoon tea, which raised more than £1,500 for the breast cancer charity.

How to book the Pinchbeck event

Entry costs £5. Places can be booked in advance by calling organiser Judy Dolton on 07958 525022.

Advance booking is the route given for securing a place, so anyone hoping to attend should contact the organiser before the event. The source does not state how many places are available or whether tickets can be bought on the door.

Donations of cakes and raffle prizes welcomed

The organisers are also appealing for people who can contribute cakes or raffle prizes. Donations can be arranged by contacting Judy on the same telephone number.

The fundraiser is being held for Breast Cancer Now, and the previous total shows the scale of support generated by the event last year. The new afternoon tea will continue that fundraising effort in the Pinchbeck community.

Residents who want to attend, donate cakes or provide a raffle prize can contact Judy Dolton on 07958 525022 for further details.
